Nov 19NOTICE TO BUSINESSES THAT STORE, USE, OR MANUFACTURE ANY HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCE Section 128E-6(2), HRS, the Hawaii Emergency Planning and Community Right-To-Know Act (HEPCRA) mandates that the owner or operator of a facility in the State that stores, uses, or manufactures any hazardous substances may be required to submit a Tier II Chemical Inventory Report form and Filing fee by March 1 of each year to the Department of Health. Nov 2E. COLI BACTERIA FOUND IN BOARD OF WATER SUPPLY (BWS) KAMAILE WELL PUMP #2 Water is safe to drink; it is disinfected before entering drinking water system. The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is notifying the public that a water sample from BWS Kamaile Well Pump #2 has tested positive for the presence of E. coli bacteria. As a result, BWS is providing public notice of the finding as required under the federal Ground Water Rule. Oct 22Notice of Proposed Rule Adoption The State of Hawaii Department of Defense, Office of Veterans Services is proposing to adopt a new rule within the Hawaii Administrative Rules, Chapter 7-31. It is proposed to amend HAR § 7-31-4 by adding § 7-31-4.3. This proposed rule is based in Hawaii Revised Statutes § 363-13.
