This year's Fourth of July Celebration will feature various activities throughout the day, a performance by the Hawaii County Band at 7pm, culminating with the traditional Fireworks Exhibition at 8pm in Hilo Bay. Jun 11NOTICE TO MOTORISTS The City and County of Honolulu will convert the intersection of Makaloa and Sheridan Streets into an "All-WayStop". Motorists are cautioned to obey the existing and newly installed traffic control devices. The traffic control devices will be installed by the end of June 2026.

Oct 17NOTICE TO MOTORISTS The City and County of Honolulu will be installing an "All-Way Stop" at the intersection of Diamond Head Road and Makalei Place. Drivers are advised to use caution and obey all posted traffic signs at this intersection, including the newly installed stop signs. The "All-Way Stop" will be installed by November 17th, 2025
