Sep 12The Kauai Emergency Management Agency (KEMA) intends to solicit assistance from the Department of Defense Innovative Readiness Training (IRT) program to assess potential County and state buildings to be used as Best Available Refuge Areas in the event of a major storm. The IRT will provide technical expertise and assessment experience to support KEMA's efforts in conducting a Refuge Area Assessment on the non-residential buildings.
