PUBLIC NOTICE DISPOSITION OF HAWAIIAN HOME LANDS BY GENERAL LEASE FOR USE AS RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT ON HAWAII ISLAND The Department of Hawaiian Home Lands ("DHHL") intends to dispose of land on Hawaii Island under a general lease for use as renewable energy project by way of direct negotiations pursuant to Sections 171-95 or 171-95.3, HRS, as amended. POLICY OF NON-DISCRIMINATION The City and County of Honolulu through its Department of Community Services will administer the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) in a non-discriminatory manner as required by its Affirmative Marketing Plan. The HOME Program provides financial assistance for the rehabilitation and construction of residential housing units. Owners of residential dwellings participating in the HOME Program will also be required to affirmatively market available dwelling units through public advertising, maintenance of records and provide fair housing information to applicants and tenants. PUBLIC NOTICE (Docket No. 18-CA-PA-04) The Department of Health, State of Hawaii, is notifying all interested persons of the proposed settlement between the Department of Health and Kauai Island Utility Cooperative. The Department of Health has issued a Notice and Finding of Violation and Order, in Docket No. 14-CA-EO-09, alleging that Kauai Island Utility Cooperative violated state air pollution laws, HRS §342B-11, HAR §11-60.1-2, and Covered Source Permit (CSP) No. 0452-01-C for exceeding the maximum emissions limit for ammonia.
