Jul 18Destruction of Special Education Records The Hawaii State Department of Education is no longer required to maintain the special education records for those students who graduated with a diploma or turned 22 years old prior to July 1, 2018. For those who would like a copy of their records, arrangements for pickup must be made by calling their respective district or complex area office no later than August 30, 2021.
