NOTICE TO MOTORISTS KAWAINUI STREAM BRIDGE [27-7] CLOSED FOR WOODEN DECK AND RAILING REPLACEMENT The County of Hawai'i Department of Public Works will be replacing the wooden deck and railings on Kawainui Stream Bridge. The bridge closure along Old Mamalahoa Highway will commence starting May 13 to May 31, 2024. To ensure the safety of workers and the public, the bridge will be closed 24 hours a day for the duration of the work. Residents between Old Onomea Road and Kula'iomano Road may be affected.
