E. COLI BACTERIA FOUND IN BOARD OF WATER SUPPLY (BWS) KAMAILE WELL PUMP #2 Water is safe to drink; it is disinfected before entering drinking water system. The Board of Water Supply (BWS) is notifying the public that a water sample from BWS Kamaile Well Pump #2 has tested positive for the presence of E. coli bacteria. As a result, BWS is providing public notice of the finding as required under the federal Ground Water Rule. Notice of Proposed Rule Adoption The State of Hawaii Department of Defense, Office of Veterans Services is proposing to adopt a new rule within the Hawaii Administrative Rules, Chapter 7-31. It is proposed to amend HAR § 7-31-4 by adding § 7-31-4.3. This proposed rule is based in Hawaii Revised Statutes § 363-13. The proposed rule concerns disbursement of World War II Filipino veterans burial grant funds.
