NOTICE OF AVAILABLITY OF NATIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY ACT (NEPA) DRAFT ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT Pursuant to Title 49, United States Code, § 47106(c)(1)(A), notice is hereby given that the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation – Airports (HDOT-A), proposes to implement Runway 3-21 Runway Safety Area (RSA) Improvements at Lihue Airport (LIH), on the island of Kauai, Hawaii. The proposed project improvements, anticipated to be completed within the next two years, will enhance the safety of LIH operations.
