Apr 11WATER SHUT-OFF NOTICE AFFECTED AREA: ALL SERVICES ALONG KAMEHAMEHA AVENUE BETWEEN PONAHAWAI STREET AND HAILI STREET, INCLUDING ALL CONNECTING SIDE STREETS; SOUTH HILO, HAWAI'I Water will be temporarily turned off in the above-mentioned area overnight from 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021, to 2:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2021, to install a main valve. Upon resumption of water service, the waterlines will be flushed and cleaned during which time you may notice turbid and/or discolored water. Apr 9NOTICE TO MOTORISTS In accordance with ROH Section 15-17.1, notice is hereby given for the proposed removal of marked crosswalks on California Avenue at Mango and Westervelt Streets. The crossings will be consolidated at the Makani Avenue crosswalk where pedestrian crossing treatments will be implemented. The proposed removal date will be on or after April 30, 2021.
