The State of Hawaii Department of Health will hold a public hearing for the proposed amendment of Hawaii Administrative Rules chapter 11-41, which regulates individuals and businesses performing lead-based paint activities and providing lead-based paint activities training courses. The proposed amendments align state regulations with updates to the US Environmental Protection Agency's federal lead-based paint activities program. Changes are also proposed to improve clarity.
