Mar 24PUBLIC NOTICE NOMINATIONS FOR COMMISSION MEMBER TO THE STATE COMMISSION ON WATER RESOURCE MANAGEMENT The Nominating Committee for the State Commission on Water Resource Management ("Commission") is accepting applications for one vacant Commissioner's position on the Commission. The new term for the Commissioner will begin July 1, 2019 and run for four (4) years, expiring on June 30, 2023. The Nominating Committee will review the applications and send to the Governor the names of at least three (3) individuals deemed qualified according to Hawaii Revised Statutes § 174C-7(b). Mar 21PUBLIC NOTICE REVISION EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANTS (ESG) PROGRAM On March 8, 2019, the City and County of Honolulu (City) published a Public Notice in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser proposing to reprogram Fiscal Year 2017 ESG funds to projects that can utilize the funds immediately, in order to achieve ESG program goals more efficiently and expediently. The City is issuing a revision to the Public Notice to include additional language to allow any funds not committed or spent by May 31, 2019 to be further reprogrammed to an eligible activity that supports ESG recipients, such as the Homeless Management Information System. Mar 14POLICY OF NON-DISCRIMINATION The City and County of Honolulu through its Department of Community Services will administer the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME) in a non-discriminatory manner as required by its Affirmative Marketing Plan. The HOME Program provides financial assistance for the rehabilitation and construction of residential housing units.
