Cattle found within these boundaries are subject to actions specified in HRS-183-19 which includes removing, shooting or destroying the cattle, without compensation to the owner, by Division of Forestry and Wildlife staff. This is a 30 day notice to neighboring ranchers to please remove their cattle from the forest reserves noted. It is not legal for the public to hunt cattle in the forest reserves.
