October 19, 2023 WATER NOTICE AFFECTED AREA: CUSTOMERS ALONG WAIANUENUE AVENUE BETWEEN KAPI'OLANI STREET AND HALA'I STREET, AND INCLUDING ANY SIDE ROADS AND LANES; HILO, HAWAI'I The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test along Waianuenue Avenue between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal. (...)

Customer Class Definitions Potable Water means all water that meets State Department of Health Drinking Water Standards. For all customers, all potable water used for irrigation will be billed in accordance with the primary usage of the property. Potable water customers are divided into the following classes: Residential: Single-family residential refers to single-family and duplex residences.
