The purpose of the proposed adoptions is: (1) to implement, clarify, and give more specificity to the gifts to city officers and employees law, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu section 1-19.7; and (2) to implement, clarify, and give more specificity to the fair and equal treatment law, Revised Charter of Honolulu section 11-104.

Those persons wishing to testify at this hearing may register prior to the hearing at the hearing site and are encouraged to submit one copy of their testimony by hand delivery, mail, or email. Attendance at the public hearing is not a prerequisite for submission of testimony.
