NOTICE OF PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL MEETING
DOCKET NO. 2025-0156

The Public Utilities Commission (“PUC”) is hosting two public meetings for Hawaiian Electric Companies (“Hawaiian Electric”) to provide information about its Wildfire Mitigation Plan (“WMP”) and future plans to improve grid resilience. Members of the public will also have an opportunity to provide comments on Hawaiian Electric’s WMP. The PUC will hold a separate meeting to address Kauai Island Utility Cooperative’s (KIUC) WMP at another date. The public meetings regarding Hawaiian Electric’s WMP will be held as follows:

1. April 23, 2025: Comments welcome from O’ahu and Statewide
stakeholders;
2. April 24, 2025: Comments welcome from Maui, Moloka’i, Lana’i and
Hawai’i Island stakeholders.

A. To attend in-person: PUC main office, Kekuanao’a Building, 465 South King Street, Hearing Room, Honolulu, HI 96813. Members of the public are welcome to attend in person, but those who will be providing comments orally are requested to sign in at the entrance to the meeting.

B. To watch live or recording:
For members of the public who will be watching, but not providing oral comments at the public meeting, the PUC will be streaming the meeting on its YouTube page (a recording of the meeting will also be available on this page):

C. To provide oral comments virtually:

1. For Day 1: April 23, 2025
