NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON PROPOSED LAND USE WITHIN THE CONSERVATION DISTRICT

The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to Section 13-5-40, Hawai’i Administrative Rules, will hold a public hearing in Kailua-Kona, County of Hawai’i on:

Thursday, September 19, 2024; at 5:30 P.M.
at the West Hawai’i Civic Center, Community Meeting Hale (Building G) located at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Hwy, Kailua-Kona, HI 96740

to receive testimony on Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) HA-3955 for the proposed Kona Airport Monopole Telecommunications System project at 73-4299 Queen Ka’ahumanu Highway located at Kalaoa, North Kona, Hawai’i, Tax Map Key: (3) 7-3-049:038
A copy of the CDUA is available for inspection at: The Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, located at the Kalanimoku Building Room 131, 1151 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu, at the Kailua-Kona State Library and online at the Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands website at dlnr.hawaii.gov/occl/current-applications.
Any person may testify or present information on the application. Disabled individuals planning to attend the hearing are asked to contact Alyssa Accardo of the DLNR’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands at (808) 587-0048 at least five days in advance of the public hearing to indicate if they have special needs which require accommodations.
