HAWAII HOUSING FINANCE and DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (HHFDC)

The HHFDC facilitates workforce and affordable housing in the State of Hawaii and is seeking experienced and dedicated Executive Director.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (Exempt/Non-Civil Service)

The Executive Director reports to a nine-member of Board of Directors and oversees daily operations and implementation of HHFDC’s policies and plans.

The ideal candidate is a strongly committed individual with extensive experience and knowledge of Hawaii land use planning and zoning, real estate financing or development of affordable housing. Strong leadership, management abilities, excellent communication skills, and community relations expertise are key qualities for the successful candidate. Familiarity with public administration, including the enforcement of rules and legislative matters, is a plus. Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university or demonstrated equivalent experience and/or education.
