Traffic Schedule No. 2022-5
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2022-5 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXVII OF SECTION 15-17.1 ESTABLISHING MARKED CROSSWALK (MID-BLOCK); SCHEDULE XXXIV OF SECTION 15-18.3(c) ESTABLISHING BICYCLE LANES;
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
“Waiinu St., for its entire length (City-owned portion).”
“Kamakana St., for its entire length (City-owned portion).”
“Waikapuna St., for its entire length.”
“Waikai St., for its entire length.”
“Waikapoo St., for its entire length.”
“Kaiokia St., for its entire length.”
“Waipuhia St., for its entire length.”
“Kaiamalo St., for its entire length.”
“Aikahi Lp., for its entire length.”
b. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) establishing yield right-of-way by adding thereto the following item:

“Kaiwawalo St. – Waiemi St. Eastbound traffic on Waiemi St. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.”
“Kaiwawalo St. – Waiemi St. Westbound traffic on Waiemi St. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout.”
2. By deleting therefrom the following items:
“Kaiwawalo St. – Waiemi St. Traffic on Waiemi St. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic in the roundabout and to northbound Kaiwawalo St. traffic entering the roundabout at the same time.”
c. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:
“Waiemi St.-Kaiamalo St., traffic on Waiemi St. shall stop before entering Kaiamalo St.”
“Waiemi St.-Kaiokia St., traffic on Waiemi St. shall stop before entering Kaiokia St.”
“Waiemi St.-Kamakana St., traffic on Waiemi St. shall stop before entering Kamakana St.”
“Waikapoo St.-Kamakana St., traffic on Waikapoo St. shall stop before entering Kamakana St.”
“Waiinu St.-Waiemi St., traffic on Waiinu St. shall stop before entering Waiemi St.”
“Waiinu St.-Waikapoo St., traffic on Waiinu St. shall stop before entering Waikapoo St.”
“Kaiuliuli St.-Kamakana St., traffic on Kaiuliuli St. shall stop before entering Kamakana St.”

d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
“Waiemi St., northern side, distance 140′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Waiinu St.”
“Waiemi St., northern side, distance 90′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Kamakana St.”
“Waiemi St., northern side, from Kaiwawalo St. to Kaiokia St.”
“Waiemi St., southern side, distance 230′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation Kaiokia St.”

Kilauea Ave., Koko Head side, distance 166′ makai direction from a point 75′ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Oili Loop to read:
“Kilauea Ave., Koko Head side, distance 150′ mauka direction starting from a point 250′ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Hunakai Street, during hours 7 am to 5 pm school days only.”
3. By deleting therefrom the following items:
Waikapuna St., both sides, from Waikoihi St. to and including its turnaround area.
Dominis St., makai side, distance 36′ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Poki St.
e. By amending Schedule XVII of Sec. 15-17.1 establishing marked crosswalk (mid-block) by adding thereto the following items:
“Waikapoo St., 10″ wide, centerline approximately 255′ west of the western curb prolongation of Waiinu St.”
“Waiinu St., 10′ wide, centerline approximately 100′ north of the northern curb prolongation of Waiaama St.”
f. By amending Schedule XXXIV of Sec. 15-8.3(c) establishing bicycle lanes by adding thereto the following items:
“Kamakana St., both sides, from Keoneula Blvd. to Waikapuna St.”
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
