Veterans Administration (VA) Home RFP and Certification Specialist

Temporary, not to exceed 12 months
Description: Provide administrative support to the Director of the State Office of Veterans Services, by assisting with the update, development and completion of major milestones directly related to the planning, design, construction and administration of the 2nd State Veterans Home slated for Kapolei, HI. This includes developing a request for proposal (RFP) for publication, coordinating the completion of the Certificate of Need for the facility and meeting all VA and State Department of Health licensing requirements. The individual works under the general direction of the Director of the State Office of Veterans Services in the State Department of Defense.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree from an accredited college in business or healthcare administration. Work experience in healthcare systems, medical centers, and healthcare delivery systems in a VA hospital setting.
Salary: $50/hr. not to exceed $99,500, in total compensation, depending on qualifications and subject to Governor’s approval and available funds.
