Project Name: Waihe’e Line Booster – Replacement of Pumping Units

Project Description: The Honolulu Board of Water Supply is proposing to replace two booster pumping units with new pumps, motors, discharge heads, piping, valves, and all appurtenant mechanical and electrical work at our Waihe’e Line Booster station. The purpose of this project is to upgrade the water system to current standards and improve water service reliability. This work requires the use of heavy construction equipment to create an open trench 4-feet wide by 6-feet deep. All pump replacement and electrical work will be within the existing Waihe’e Line Booster station (TMK 4-7-013:014).
Proposed Project Area: Approximately 0.39 acre
Potential Historic Resources: At this time, there are no known historic items within the project limits that will be affected by the construction of this project.
