PUBLIC NOTICE
AMENDMENT TO 2025 ACTION PLAN FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM

The County of Hawaii Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) is proposing a substantial amendment to its 2025 Action Plan for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. In accordance with the County’s approved Citizen Participation Plan, OHCD invites public comment on the proposed amendment from October 2, 2026 through November 2, 2026.

OHCD proposes to transfer $168,383.91 in unobligated PY 2023 CDBG funds and $31,616.09 in unobligated PY 2024 CDBG funds, for a total of $200,000.00, to the 2025 Arc of Hilo – Adult Day Care Facility Renovations and Expansion project. The additional funding is needed to award the construction contract.

OHCD will consider comments received during the public comment period and may revise the proposed amendment as appropriate.
