A REQUEST FOR AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 21, REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU (ROH) 1990, AS AMENDED (THE LAND USE ORDINANCE [LUO]), RELATING TO REFERENCES TO THE STATE OF HAWAII CONDOMINIUM PROPERTY ACT
The Department of Planning and Permitting (DPP) is proposing to amend Chapter 21, LUO, to correct inconsistent references to the Condominium Property Act of the Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) (Chapters 514A and 514B), resulting from amendments to the HRS by the State Legislature. The LUO cites Chapters 514A and/or 514B in three sections, relating to nonconforming multi-family dwellings, ohana dwellings, and accessory dwelling units.

Public testimony is to be taken at the hearing. Persons wishing to present oral testimony, please register at the hearing prior to giving testimony. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony.
