ORDER ADOPTING AMENDMENTS TO CHAPTER 4-71,
HAWAII ADMINISTRATIVE RULES, aka NON-DOMESTIC ANIMAL IMPORT RULES,
TO DELETE THE WATER BUFFALO, BUBALUS BUBALIS,
FROM THE LIST OF RESTRICTED ANIMALS (PART A)
AND TO ADD WATER BUFFALO, BUBALUS BUBALIS
TO THE LIST OF RESTRICTED ANIMALS (PART B)

The Hawaii Board of Agriculture (Board), pursuant to section 150A-6.6, Hawaii Revised Statutes, section 4-71-4.2, Hawaii Administrative Rules (Rules), and the Board’s approval at its duly noticed meeting on April 23, 2019, hereby approves the transfer of the water buffalo, Bubalus bubalis, from the List of Restricted Animals (Part A) under section 4-71-6.5, Rules, to the List of Restricted Animals (Part B) under section 4-71-6.5, Rules. The Board hereby adopts the proposed amendments to the List of Restricted Animals (Part A) and the List of Restricted Animals (Part B), as set forth in Appendix A-1 and Appendix A-2, respectively. Appendix A-1 and Appendix A-2 are copies of the affected page of each of the aforementioned lists, respectively.
