NOTICE OF TRAFFIC IMPACT

AFFECTED AREA: KEA’AU-PAHOA ROAD (HWY 130) BETWEEN ‘AULI’I
STREET AND MAKU’U DRIVE (6-7 MILE MARKERS);
PAHOA, PUNA, HAWAI’I

The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai’i, will be working on Kea’au-Pahoa Road (HWY 130) between ‘Auli’i Street and Maku’u Drive
from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026, to perform trench paving. If this planned work must be cancelled, the make-up date will be Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

Alternating, one-lane traffic will be in place while the construction work is occurring. Police and message boards will be stationed to inform motorists. Motorists should expect delays and drive with caution.
