NOTICE OF TRAFFIC IMPACT
AFFECTED AREA: KEA’AU-PAHOA ROAD (HWY 130) BETWEEN ‘AULI’I
STREET AND MAKU’U DRIVE (6-7 MILE MARKERS);
PAHOA, PUNA, HAWAI’I
The Department of Water Supply (DWS), County of Hawai’i, will be working on Kea’au-Pahoa Road (HWY 130) between ‘Auli’i Street and Maku’u Drive
from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. daily from Tuesday, February 17, 2026, through Friday, February 20, 2026. This is to install a new water service.
Alternating, one-lane traffic will be in place while the construction work is occurring. Police and message boards will be stationed to inform motorists. Motorists should expect delays and drive with caution.
