Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Land Use within the Conservation District
The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to the Hawai’i Administrative Rules, §13-5-40 will hold a public hearing in ‘Ewa Beach, O’ahu on:
Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 5:15 pm
at the ‘Ewa Beach Library on 91-950 North Road
to receive testimony on Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) OA-3992 for the O’ahu Subsea Cable Project proposed upon submerged lands offshore of Barber’s Point Beach Park, makai of tax map key: (1) 9-1-026:027 located at Honouliuli, ‘Ewa, O’ahu.
A copy of the CDUA is available for inspection at: The Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, located at the Kalanimoku Building Room 131, 1151 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu, at the Kapolei State Library and online at the Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands website at dlnr.hawaii.gov/occl/current-applications.
Any person may testify or present information on the application. Disabled individuals planning to attend the hearing are asked to contact Tiger Mills of the DLNR’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands at (808) 587-0377 at least seven days in advance of the public hearing to indicate if they have special needs which require accommodations.
