Notice is hereby given that the Kaua’i County Council will hold a public hearing on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m., or soon thereafter, at the Council Chambers, 4396 Rice Street, Room 201, Historic County Building, Lihu’e, on the following:

A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 1, KAUA’I COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO SCHEDULE OF FEES AND DEPOSITS

This Bill proposes to increase fee amounts to cover costs that have risen to provide services at County parks and facilities, as well as custodial deposit fees to encourage proper use and care of County facilities.

A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 2, KAUA’I COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO CAMPING ON COUNTY PARKS AND PROPERTIES

This Bill proposes to update certain fees, permits, and penalties that are in line with current market conditions, as well as improve County campground operations.

A BILL FOR AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 19, ARTICLE 4, KAUA’I COUNTY CODE 1987, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO FEES

This Bill proposes to update camping fees to current market conditions and cover more of the cost to operate and maintain County campground facilities at Lydgate Park.
