Pursuant to sections 92-41 and 321-175, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, notice is hereby given that the State of Hawai’i, Department of Health will hold a public hearing on the proposed Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division Strategic Plan for 2027-2031 (“Strategic Plan”). The Strategic Plan proposes the following goals: Goal 1. Increase Service Capacity and Workforce. Goal 2. Increase Youth and Family Voice Throughout the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Division. Goal 3. Improve Coordination with System Partners.
A copy of the proposed CAMHD Strategic Plan for 2027-2031 is available at: https://health.hawaii.gov/camhd/strategic-plan/ under the section titled “2027-2031 Draft Plan.” The Kaua’i County public hearing will be at 10am on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at the Kaua’i District Health Office Main Conference Room at 3040 ‘Umi St., Lihu’e, HI 96766. Participants may register for virtual attendance at https://health.hawaii.gov/camhd/strategic-plan/ under the section titled “2026 Public Hearings Schedule.” All interested parties may attend and present relevant information, comments, and opinions.
