PUBLIC NOTICE
AMENDMENT TO THE 2024 and 2025 ACTION PLANS FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM

In accordance with the County of Hawai’i’s approved Citizen Participation Plan, a non-substantial amendment to the County’s Action Plan requires a quarterly publication to notify citizens of any amendments made to its Annual Action Plans. The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) has processed the following non-substantial amendments for its CDBG program during the period May 1, 2026 to July 31, 2026:

2024 ACTION PLAN
Transferred $90,000.00 of unobligated CDBG funds to the 2024 Hope Services – Wilder Transitional House Facility Renovation Improvements project for higher than anticipated construction costs.

2025 ACTION PLAN
Transferred $9,224.00 of unobligated CDBG funds to the 2025 Arc of Kona – Kona Krafts Group Home Cesspool Conversion and Improvements project for higher than anticipated construction costs.
