NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of a public hearing to be held by the Planning Commission of the City and County of Honolulu:

DATE: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
TIME: 1:30 p.m.
The meeting of the Honolulu Planning Commission will be conducted as a remote meeting using interactive conference technology with one in-person meeting location open to the public as follows:
Planning Commissioners, Planning Department staff, parties to agenda items, and resource individuals may appear via WebEx remote technology (details below)
A recording of the meeting will also be posted at a later date
If any major and insurmountable technical difficulties are encountered during the meeting, the Planning Commission will automatically recess for up to thirty (30) minutes to restore communication. The meeting will reconvene when either audiovisual or audio-only communication is established with the same WebEx link below. If it is not possible to reconvene the meeting as provided within thirty (30) minutes after an interruption to communication, the Planning Commission will continue all matters and reconvene at the next scheduled Planning Commission meeting

Request: The Applicants seek to rezone a 1.431-acre or 62,334-square-foot lot from the Country District to the R-5 District.
The purpose of the proposed zone change is to bring the parcel’s zoning into conformance with its longstanding use as a site for six single-unit dwellings and one two-unit dwelling.

Public testimony will be accepted at the hearing. Written testimony submitted at least two (2) business days before the hearing will help to ensure distribution to and review by the Commission. Testimony submitted after that time will still be accepted. Attendance at the public hearing is not necessary to submit written testimony. Persons wishing to present oral testimony, please register on-site on the day and time of the hearing. Ten (10) copies are requested, if submitting written testimony on-site on the day of the hearing.
