NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 2-32.3(b)(5), Revised Ordinances of Honolulu that the City and County of Honolulu (City) will be installing video surveillance cameras to monitor the Department of Parks and Recreation, Parks Permits Office, located at Sheridan Community Park. These cameras will be employed for the general prevention and deterrence of criminal activity and to ensure the safety and security of the public and community we serve. The 4MP ultra-low light, night color technology plus cameras will be used to achieve legitimate law enforcement objectives for legitimate public purposes. The 4MP ultra-low light, night color technology cameras will begin operating and recording 10 calendar days after publication of this legal notice.

CAMERA LOCATIONS AT SHERIDAN COMMUNITY PARK

A total of thirteen (13) surveillance cameras will be installed throughout Sheridan Community Park to enhance security and monitoring capabilities. Of these, seven (7) cameras will be strategically positioned on the exterior of the Parks Permits Office Building. These exterior cameras will provide coverage of critical access points, including the main entrance, two side entrances, the rear entrance, as well as perimeter areas adjacent to windows. The remaining six (6) surveillance cameras will be deployed within the interior of the building. These interior units will monitor the main entrance, reception area, waiting area, and designated storage spaces. All surveillance equipment will be configured for continuous (24/7) operation to ensure uninterrupted monitoring and incident recording.
