The State of Hawai’i Department of Land and Natural Resources, pursuant to
Chapter 195D, Hawai’i Revised Statutes, will hold a public hearing to receive
testimony on the following:
The new draft Habitat Conservation Agreement for Kaheawa Wind Power I on
the island of Maui.
The appointed Hearing Officer will be:
Jason D. Omick, Wildlife Program Manager, Division of Forestry and Wildlife.
Copies of the draft Kaheawa Wind Power I Habitat Conservation Plan are
available for review in the August 8th, 2025, edition of The Environmental
Notice at
https://files.hawaii.gov/dbedt/erp/Other_TEN_Publications/2025-08-08-MA-Draft-HCP-Kaheawa-Wind-Power-I.pdf or at the Division of Forestry and
Wildlife Administrative Office in Honolulu (address below). Copies will also be
available at the public hearing.
