Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed Land Use within the Conservation District

The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR), State of Hawai’i, pursuant to the Hawai’i Administrative Rules, §13-5-40 will hold a public hearing in Nanakuli, O’ahu on:

Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at 6:15 pm
at the Nanakuli Public Library 89-070 Farrington Highway

to receive testimony on Conservation District Use Application (CDUA) OA-3987 for the Hawaiki Cable Landing Expansion Project proposed upon submerged lands offshore of Kahe Point Beach Park, makai of tax map key: (1) 9-2-049:001 located at Honouliuli, ‘Ewa, O’ahu.
A copy of the CDUA is available for inspection at: The Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands, located at the Kalanimoku Building Room 131, 1151 Punchbowl Street in Honolulu, at the Kapolei and Nanakuli State Library and online at the Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands website at dlnr.hawaii.gov/occl/current-applications.
Any person may testify or present information on the application. Disabled individuals planning to attend the hearing are asked to contact Tiger Mills of the DLNR’s Office of Conservation and Coastal Lands at (808) 587-0377 at least seven days in advance of the public hearing to indicate if they have special needs which require accommodations.
