Traffic Schedule No. 2025-3
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2025-3 TO AMEND:

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule II of Sec. 15-6.2(b) establishing traffic signals on Federal-aid Highway (State) by adding thereto the following items:

“Farrington Hwy – Pupupuhi St”

“Fort Weaver Rd-Keone’ula Blvd.”

b. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Forest Ridge Wy. from Round Top Dr. to Poloke Pl.”

c. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:

“Iwaena St., for its entire length.”

“Papali St., for its entire length.”

“Welo St., for its entire length”

d. By amending Schedule VI of Sec. 15-7.2(c) establishing speed limit–30 mph by amending thereto the following item:

Keone’ula Blvd., for its entire length (City-owned portion); to read:

“Keone’ula Blvd., for its entire length (City-owned portion) except for portion specified in Schedule V.”

e. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:

” ‘Opaka St. shall stop before entering Welo St.”

” ‘Opalipali St. shall stop before entering Welo St.”

f. By amending Schedule XVII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(4) establishing tow zones–AM peak by adding thereto the following item:

“Ku’ulei Rd., northern side, between Aulike St. and Oneawa St., 6:30 to 8:30 am, except Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays.”

g. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zone–24 hours by adding thereto the following items:

“Iwaena St., eastern side, distance 348′ northerly direction from a point 20′ south of the northern property line of 99-969 Iwaena St. (Crazy Shirts)”

“Iwaena St., eastern side, distance 155′ southerly direction from a point 110′ south of the northern property line of 99-1077 Iwaena St. (C&C Halawa Corp. Yard)”

h. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zone–other than peak traffic peak hours by adding thereto the following items:

“Keoniana St., odd-numbered side, from Ala Wai Blvd. to Kalakaua Ave. 6:00 – 7:00 am, Mondays except State holidays.”

“Keoniana St., even-numbered side, from Ala Wai Blvd to Kalakaua Ave. 6:00 – 7:00 am, Tuesdays except State holidays.”

i. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Aiea Heights Drive, within the undefined turnaround area which commences from a point approximately 98′ southerly direction from the southern property line of 99-1849 Aiea Heights Drive property line on the eastern side, and from a point approximately 114′ southerly direction from the southern property line of 99-1849 Aiea Heights Drive property line on the western side.”

“Kaukolu Wy., eastern side from the southern curb prolongation of Kaukolu Wy. to and including its southern turnaround area.”

“Kaukolu Wy. (eastern leg), northern side, distance 50′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Kaukolu Pl.”

“Kaukolu Wy. (eastern leg), northern side, distance 59′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Kaukolu Wy.”

“Kaukolu Wy. (eastern leg), southern side, distance 61′ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Kaukolu Pl.”

“Kaukolu Wy. (eastern leg), southern side, distance 50′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Kaukolu Wy.”

“Ho’oma’ike St., southern side, distance 52′ easterly direction from the eastern curb prolongation of Ho’omahilu St.”

“Iwaena St., eastern side, distance 155′ southern direction from a point 110′ south of the northern property line of 99-1077 Iwaena St. (C&C Halawa Corp. Yard)”

“Waipi’o Uka St., northern side, distance 78′ easterly direction from a point 233′ east of the eastern curb prolongation of Ka Uka Blvd.”

“Waipi’o Uka St., northern side, distanace 78′ easterly direction from a point 684′ east of the eastern curb prolongation of Ka Uka Blvd.”

“Welo St. – western side, from the southern curb prolongation of ‘Opaka St. for a distance 157’ in the southerly direction.”

“Welo St.- western side, from the northern curb prolongation of ‘Opaka St. for a distance 160’ in the northerly direction.”

“Welo St. – eastern side, from a point 11O’ south of the southern curb prolongation of ‘Opaka St., for a distance 190’ in the northerly direction”.

“Welo St. – northern side, from a point 295′ east of the eastern curb prolongation of ‘Opalipali St., for a distance 583’ in the westerly direction.”

“Welo St.- western side, 1320′ from the southern curb prolongation of Panana St., for a distance 115′ in the southerly direction.”

“Welo St. – southern side, from a point 106′ west of the western curb prolongation of ‘Opalipali St., for a distance 223’ in the easterly direction.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Geiger Rd., both sides, between Fort Weaver Rd. and Kapolei Pkwy.; to read:

“Geiger Rd., both sides, between Fort Weaver Rd. and Franklin D Roosevelt Ave.”

Hulakai Dr., even-numbered side, distance 53′ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Wiliki Dr. (Koko Head intx.), to read:

“Hulakui Dr., mauka side, for its entire length, between Wiliki Dr. (‘Ewa intx.) and Wiliki Dr. (Koko Head intx.)”

Kaukolu Wy., within its northern and southern turnaround areas.; to read:

“Kaukolu Wy., within its northern turnaround area.”

Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, distance 60′ mauka direction from mauka edge of mauka driveway to Kailua Elementary School parking lot at 315 Ku’ulei Rd.; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, from a point 322′ makai of makai curb prolongation of Aulike St. to Maluniu Ave.”

Ku’ulei Rd., Kaneohe side, between Aulike St. and Oneawa St. AM peak; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Kaneohe side, between Aulike St. and Oneawa St. AM peak, except Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays.”

j. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited parking loading and unloading by deleting therefrom the following items:

“Hobron Ln., ‘Ewa side, distance 191’ mauka direction from mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd.”

“Hobron Ln., ‘Ewa side, distance 130′ makai direction from a point 100’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kaio’o Dr. (mauka intx.)”

k. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by amending the following item:

Ku’ulei Rd., Lanikai side, distance 320′ makai direction from a point 45′ makai of makai curb prolongation of Aulike St., 7:00 am to 8:00 am and 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, school days.; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Lanikai side, distance 210′ makai direction from a point 47′ makai of makai curb prolongation of Aulike St., 7:00 am to 8:00 am and 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm, school days.”

l. By amending Schedule XXVI of Sec. 15-16.1 establishing time limit parking in the following particulars:

1. By amending thereto the following items:

Ku’ulei Rd., Kahuku side, between Oneawa St. in the makai direction and end of widened portion Ku’ulei Rd.; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Kahuku side, between Oneawa St. in the makai direction and end of widened portion of Ku’ulei Rd., 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Mon. through Fri., 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays, except Sundays and State holidays.”

Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, between Aulike St. and Maluniu Ave.; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, between Aulike St. and Maluniu Ave., 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, except Sundays and State holidays.”

Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, between Oneawa St./Kailua Rd. and Aulike St.; to read:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Waimanalo side, between Oneawa St./Kailua Rd. and Aulike St., 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, except Sundays and State holidays.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Ku’ulei Rd., Kahuku side, between Aulike St. and Maluniu Ave.”

m. By amending Schedule XXXVII of Sec. 15-7.2(i) establishing speed limit–10 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Forest Ridge Wy. from Poloke Pl., to its terminus.”

n. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“‘Ahuimanu Pl. Bridge, between Hui ‘Ulili St. and Hui ‘Auku’u Pl., shall have emergency vehicle weight limits as: Single Axle 17 tons, Tandem 26 Tons, Gross 36 Tons.”

“Hui ‘Aeko St. Bridge, south of its intersection with Hui ‘Iwa St., shall have emergency vehicle weight limits as: Single Axle 17 tons, Tandem 26 Tons, Gross 36 Tons.”

“Keneke St. Bridge, between Ko St. and Keneke St., shall have emergency vehicle weight limits: Single Axle 17 Tons, Tandem 26 Tons, Gross 36 Tons.”

“Keone’ula Blvd., eastbound traffic in the southern lane must turn right at Fort Weaver Rd.”

“Pa’ala’a Rd. Box Culvert, between Haleiwa Rd. and Aukai Ln., shall have a weight limit of 33 tons and emergency vehicle weight limits as: Single Axle 17 tons, Tandem 22 tons, Gross 31 tons.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Kamehameha Hwy. Bridge, between Heeia State Park and Imiloa St., shall have a weight of 38 tons.; to read:

“Kamehameha Hwy. Bridge, between Heeia State Park and Imiloa St., shall have emergency vehicle weight limits: Single Axle 17 Tons, Tandem 28 Tons, Gross 38 Tons.”

Kapolei Pkwy., southbound traffic in the westernmost lane must turn right at Geiger Rd.; to read:

“Kapolei Pkwy., southbound traffic in the westernmost lane must turn right at Geiger Rd., except City transit buses.”

Kulukulu St., westbound traffic must turn right at Wakea St.; to read:

“Kukulu St., westbound traffic must turn right at Wakea St.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Geiger Rd., westbound traffic in the northernmost lane must turn right at Kapolei Pkwy.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
