NOTICE OF PROPOSED SALE OF REAL PROPERTY
FOR FAILURE TO PAY REAL PROPERTY TAXES DUE THEREON
DATE OF SALE MAY 20, 2025 AND MAY 21, 2025, IF NECESSARY
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that each parcel of real property described below, all in the County of Maui, Second Taxation District, State of Hawaii is subject to liens for real property taxes. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 3.48.235 through 285, Maui County Code; each parcel will be sold to the highest bidder for certified or cashier’s check at a public auction to be held in the Kihei Community Center, 303 E. Lipoa Street, Kihei, Maui, Hawaii on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 8:30 a.m. and continuing to May 21, 2025, if necessary. The entire amount of the bid is to be paid in full at the time of sale. PERSONS BIDDING AT THE AUCTION MUST REGISTER AND VERIFY FUNDS AT THE TAX SALE, PRIOR TO START OF AUCTION. REPRESENTATIVES OR AGENTS OF OTHERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE NOTARIZED DOCUMENTS SHOWING SUCH AUTHORIZATION TO BID ON BEHALF OF THOSE PARTIES THEY REPRESENT.
With respect to each parcel of property, WARNING IS HEREBY GIVEN to persons assessed and to all persons having or claiming to have any mortgage or other lien thereon or any legal or equitable right, title, or other interest therein that unless the taxes due therein, that unless the taxes due thereon, with all interest, penalties, costs, expenses and charges accrued to the date of payments are paid before the time of sale appointed above, the property will be sold as advertised. ALL OF THE PROPERTIES ARE OFFERED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES AS TO THE TITLE OR PHYSICAL CONDITION.
The taxpayer may redeem the property sold by payment to the purchaser at the sale, within one (1) year from the date of the sale, for the amount paid by the purchaser, together with all the costs and expenses which the purchaser was required to pay, and in addition thereto, interest on such amount at the rate of twelve percent (12%) a year.
