PUBLIC NOTICE
AMENDMENTS TO THE 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 ACTION PLANS FOR THE
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM

In accordance with the County of Hawaii’s approved Citizen Participation Plan, a non-substantial amendment to the County’s Action Plan requires a quarterly publication to notify citizens of any amendments made to its Annual Action Plans. The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) has processed the following non-substantial amendments for its CDBG program from January 1, 2025 to March 31, 2025:

2021 ACTION PLAN:
Transferred $4.07 of unobligated PY21 funds to the 2022 Mental Health Kokua Hilo Residential Housing Complex Renovations project for additional construction expenses.

2022 ACTION PLAN:
Transferred $19,246.00 of 2022 uncommitted program income funds to the 2022 Mental Health Kokua Kona Residential Housing Renovations project for flood damage repairs. Transferred $81,678.93 from 2020 and 2021 uncommitted program income funds to the 2022 Mental Health Kokua Hilo Residential Housing Complex Renovations project for additional construction expenses.

2023 ACTION PLAN:
Transferred $31,250.28 of unobligated PY23 funds and $23,719.31 of 2020 uncommitted program income funds to the 2024 Arc of Hilo – Equipment Acquisition for Laundry Program for Adults with Disabilities project. Transferred $13,751.00 from the 2023 Kau and Puna Volunteer Fire Station Brush Truck Acquisition project to the 2024 Puna Volunteer Station Brush Truck Acquisition project.

2024 ACTION PLAN:
Transferred $31,250.28 from unobligated PY23 funds and $23,719.31 from 2020 uncommitted program income funds to the 2024 Arc of Hilo Equipment Acquisition for Laundry Program for Adults with Disabilities project. Transferred $13,751.00 from the 2023 Kau and Puna Volunteer Fire Station Brush Truck Acquisition project to the 2024 Puna Volunteer Station Brush Truck Acquisition project.
