NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of an agency hearing with a public hearing and an opportunity for public testimony from all interested persons to be held by the Kaua’i Planning Commission pursuant to the provisions of Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) Chapter 92 and 91, and the Rules of Practice and Procedure of the County of Kauai Planning Commission. The hearing will be held regarding the following:
COUNTY ZONING AMENDMENT (ZA-2025-8) A bill for an ordinance amending Zoning Map ZM-200 (Hanapepe) to rezone approximately 14 acres from the Agriculture District (A) to the Plantation Camp District (PC) involving a parcel that is located about one-half mile mauka and northeast of the Pakala United States Postal Service building in Makaweli, and further identified as Tax Map Key (TMK): (4) 1-7-006:006.
COUNTY ZONING AMENDMENT (ZA-2025-9) for an amendment to the South Kauai Community Plan (SKCP), Koloa Regulating Plan Map from “No Designation” to “Transect Zone 3 Village Neighborhood 1 (T3VN.1)” designation for a parcel located on the western side of Po’ipu Road, Koloa, Kauai situated approximately 1,000 feet south of the Po’ipu Road /Pa’anau Road intersection, and affecting two parcels with a combined area of approximately 3.597 acres, further identified as Tax Map Key: (4) 2-6-004:032 & 049.

Any testimony received after this time will be retained as part of the record, but we cannot assure the Commission will receive it with sufficient time for review prior to the meeting.
