NOTICE
VIDEO MONITORING FOR THE
2024 HONOLULU MARATHON
The Notice is to advise the General Public that the City and County of Honolulu (City) will be utilizing video monitoring for the 2024 Honolulu Marathon race with the cameras at the locations listed below. These cameras will be employed for the general prevention and deterrence of criminal activity and to ensure the safety and security of the public and the community we serve. The monitoring will only be used to achieve legitimate law enforcement objectives for legitimate public purposes.
This video monitoring will begin on December 7, 2024 and will end on December 9, 2024. These cameras will be recording and may have tilt, pan, zoom, telescopic, and panoramic capabilities. They will not have audio monitoring or recording capabilities.
The General Public may submit written comments on the video monitoring to the City Council and the Department of Emergency Management at the following addresses:
