Appropriates revenues in the Federal Grants – Emergency Solutions Grants Program account ($271,806); and appropriates the same to the Emergency Solutions Grants Program account ($251,421) and Emergency Solutions Grants Program – Administration account ($20,385). Ayes: Council Members Evans, Inaba, Kagiwada, Kaneali’i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, and Chair Kimball – 6; Noes: None; Absent: Council Members Galimba and Villegas – 2; Excused: None.
Bill 217: Amends Chapter 6, Article 2, Section 6-12, of the Hawai’i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, as Amended), Relating to Prohibited Highways for Commercial Bicycle Tours. Seeks to add a portion of Kohala Mountain Road and a portion of Akoni Pule Highway as prohibited highways for commercial bicycle tours. Ayes: Council Members Evans, Inaba, Kagiwada, Kaneali’i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, and Chair Kimball – 6; Noes: None; Absent: Council Members Galimba and Villegas – 2; Excused: None.
Bill 223: Amends Ordinance No. 24-32, as Amended, the Operating Budget for the County of Hawai’i for the Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 2025. Increases revenues in the Federal Grants – High Intensity Impact Grant account ($193,277.96); and appropriates the same to the High Intensity Impact Grant account, for a total appropriation of $668,277.96. Ayes: Council Members Evans, Inaba, Kagiwada, Kaneali’i-Kleinfelder, Kierkiewicz, and Chair Kimball – 6; Noes: None; Absent: Council Members Galimba and Villegas – 2; Excused: None.
