PROJECT NAME: Waiapo Place, Waihua Place, and Waimomona Place Water System Improvements Project

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Honolulu Board of Water Supply is proposing installation of 2,768 feet of new waterline in the ?Ewa Gentry area. The purpose of the project is to reduce main breaks and improve water system reliability. The project includes installation of new 8 to 12-inch diameter waterlines and appurtenances, as well as the inactivation of existing waterlines. The work will require the use of heavy construction equipment to create open trenches about 4 to15 feet wide and roughly 3 to 10 feet deep. All construction work will be within existing roadway right-of-way (see attached map for locations).

In its letter of July 12, 2023, the State Historic Preservation Division determined that no historic properties would be affected by this project.
