1. Resolution 24-126 – Relating to the appointment of Lance Wilhelm to serve on the Board of Water Supply of the City and County of Honolulu.
2. Resolution 24-127 – Confirming the appointment of Arnold Wong to serve on the Fire Commission of the City and County of Honolulu.
3. Bill 9 – Relating to transportation. (Amending Chapter 36, Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 2021 [“ROH”], to repeal certain obsolete or unnecessary provisions.)
4. Bill 25 – Relating to license fees. (Repealing an outdated ordinance related to license fees.)
5. Bill 26 – Relating to Honor Our Kupuna Month. (Designating the month of May as “Honor Our Kupuna Month” to recognize and honor the great wisdom, generational knowledge, and substantial contributions of the beloved kupuna of O’ahu.)
6. Bill 32 – Relating to nondiscrimination policy. (Making revisions to the City’s nondiscrimination policy applicable to employment and the provision of services.)
7. Resolution 24-116, CD1 – Initiating amendments to the Revised Charter of the City and County of Honolulu 1973 (Amended 2017 Edition), as amended, relating to homelessness.
8. CR-183 – Recommendations on the review and evaluation of the Child Care Advisory Board pursuant to Ordinance 17-44.
9. CR-184 – Recommendations on the review and evaluation of the O’ahu Committee on Children and Youth pursuant to Ordinance 17-44.
The items listed below have been published in anticipation of the actions to be taken by the Committee on Public Safety; and therefore, the City Council may or may not take action on the items or any amendments proposed thereto.
10. Bill 22 and any amendments proposed thereto by the Committee on Public Safety – Relating to the fire code. (Addressing fireworks use and permitting in the City and County of Honolulu.)
Remote and in-person oral testimony will be permitted on all items on the agenda when each agenda item is taken up. Each speaker may not have anyone else read their statement and is limited to:
A three-minute presentation on Public Hearing and New Business items; and
A one minute presentation on all other items.

Although remote oral testimony is being permitted, this is a regular meeting and not a remote meeting by interactive conference technology under HRS Section 92-3.7. Therefore, the meeting will continue notwithstanding loss of audiovisual communication with remote testifiers or loss of the public broadcast of the meeting.
Persons wishing to testify in-person in the Council Chamber are requested to register by 10 a.m. by filling out the registration form in person outside the Council Chamber. Persons who have not registered will be given an opportunity to speak following the oral testimonies of the registered speakers.
