State Health Planning and Development Agency

The Agency has received a completed application (#24-01A) under Part V and Part VII of Chapter 323D, Hawaii Revised Statutes, from The Queen’s Medical Center for the acquisition and renovation of Wahiawa General Hospital and the deletion of 61 Medical/Surgical and 5 Critical Care beds at 128 Lehua Street, Wahiawa, HI, at a capital cost of $46,535,582. Parties to the agreement: The Queen’s Health Systems, The Wahiawa Hospital Association, Wahiawa General Hospital.
Pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes, any interested person may request a public meeting on an application before the Agency renders its decision. Any request for a public meeting must be submitted in writing at the address provided below. Any such request must be received by the Agency within seven (7) days of the publication date of this notice by 4:30 p.m. HST. The date by which written comments regarding the application must be submitted to the Agency is March 15, 2024.
