NOTICE OF DISPOSITION OF IMPOUNDED VESSELS

Notice is given that the following vessels:

Item No. 2313, “AUKAI”, Reg. No. HA 0623 B, a 27’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2319, MALAMA KAI, Reg. No. HA 7601 D, a 42’ power boat; Item No. 2321, FANCY DANCER, Reg. No. HA 3058 D, a 28’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2322, “MILROSE”, Doc. No. 604549, a 47’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2323, MOKUALI‘I, Reg. No. HA 1115 B, a 31’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2324, GYPSY, Reg. No. HA 8243 B, a 35’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2325, MELE MAKANI, Reg. No. HA 5217 C, a 28’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2326, “HAUOLI KAI”, Reg. No. HA 9272 B, a 24’ fiberglass sailing vessel; Item No. 2327, “BONNIE K”, Doc. No. 641106, a 42’ wooden power boat; Item No. 2329, “PRINCESS KAREN”, Reg. No. HA 4123 D, a 30’ fiberglass sailing vessel.

Items No. 2313, 2319, 2321, 2322, 2323, 2324, 2325, 2326, 2327, and 2329 have been impounded by the Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Boating and Ocean Recreation, 4 Sand Island Access Road, Honolulu, Hawaii, 96819.

Vessel Items No. 2313, 2319, 2321, 2322, 2323, 2324, 2325, 2326, 2327, and 2329 shall be disposed of as junk pursuant to Section 200-16, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS). The person(s) entitled to possession may repossess and remove same prior to February 15, 2024 upon payment of all harbor use fees and impound related expenses incurred in connection with these vessels.

An owner of personal property on or within these impounded vessels may claim their personal property by making a written request to the Administrator of the Division of Boating & Ocean Recreation that includes satisfactory proof of ownership. Any personal property valued at less than $1,000.00 on or within these impounded vessels not claimed by February 15, 2024 shall be disposed of as junk. These vessels are under the custody of the Department of Land and Natural Resources. Trespassing is prohibited.
