EXTENDED DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS FOR
ONE (1) ANTICIPATED JUDICIAL VACANCY AND
ONE (1) JUDICIAL VACANCY
The Judicial Selection Commission is extending the deadline for applications for the anticipated judicial vacancy in the office of Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the First Circuit (island of O’ahu) and the judicial vacancy in the office of Circuit Judge, Circuit Court of the First Circuit (island of O’ahu). The Constitution of the State of Hawai’i requires that the persons selected by the Commission be residents and citizens of the State of Hawai’i and of the United States, and have been licensed to practice law by the Hawai’i Supreme Court. A circuit judge shall have been licensed for a period of not less than ten years preceding nomination.
The Commission invites anyone who meets the constitutional requirements and is interested in the position to apply directly to the Commission.
