NOTICE

VIDEO MONITORING IN DOWNTOWN HONOLULU

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to Section 2-32.3(b)(5), Revised Ordinances of Honolulu that the City and County of Honolulu (City) will be installing video monitoring cameras to monitor Honolulu Hale and areas near Punchbowl and
S. King Streets in Honolulu. These cameras will be employed for the general prevention and deterrence of criminal activity and to ensure the safety and security of the public and community we serve. The video monitoring cameras will be used to achieve legitimate law enforcement objectives for legitimate public purposes. The video monitoring cameras will begin operating and recording no less than
10 calendar days after publication of this legal notice.

The General Public may submit written comments on the video monitoring to the Honolulu City Council and the Department of Facility Maintenance at the following addresses:

CAMERA LOCATIONS IN DOWNTOWN HONOLULU

A total of three (3) monitoring cameras will be installed around Honolulu Hale on Punchbowl Street and South King Street. The pan/tilt/zoom cameras will be installed at various locations and will be monitored by the Honolulu Police Department.
