EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS GRANTS (ESG) PROGRAM

Pursuant to the City and County of Honolulu’s (City) Citizen Participation Plan, the proposed amendments to the City’s Twenty-Fifth (25th) Year Action Plan are provided for your information. The City desires to reprogram Fiscal Year 2020 funds to provide City matching funds for program administration immediately, in order to achieve ESG program goals more efficiently and expediently. The proposed revisions to the Fiscal Year 2020 ESG projects are provided for your information and use.

AWARD REDUCTION OF $49,587.45
IHS, The Institute for Human Services – Rapid Re-Housing and Homelessness Prevention
Project Description: Grant funds for a rapid re-housing program, which includes short-term or medium-term rental assistance, financial assistance, and housing relocation and stabilization services, excluding moving costs, and a homelessness prevention program.
Fiscal Year: 2020 (25th Year Action Plan)
Funding Source: ESG funds
Proposed Amount: Rapid Re-Housing $85,458.00; Homelessness Prevention $30,412.55 (originally Rapid Re-Housing $85,458.00 and Homelessness Prevention $80,000.00)
