REQUEST PROPOSALS (RFP)

The City and County of Honolulu’s Department of Community Services, through the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division, is seeking proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations to lease City properties to provide housing for persons with special needs. The properties are identified as follows:

1) HALOA DRIVE

Location: 1322 Haloa Drive
Honolulu, Hawai’i 96818
TMK: (1) 9-9-047-081

Improvements: A one-story, single-family dwelling with 1,537 square feet living area consisting of four (4) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, and 456 square feet garage, on a 6,180 square feet parcel (Built in 1958 with eff. year build of 1964).

2) MAKAALOA STREET

Location: 91-1015 Makaaloa Street
Ewa Beach, Hawai’i 96706
TMK: (1) 9-1-067-002

Improvements: A one-story, single-family dwelling with 1,634 square feet of living space consisting of five (5) bedrooms, one (1) full bathroom, two (2) half-bathrooms with a two-car garage on a 3,724 square feet parcel (Built in 1994).

3) MAKUAHINE STREET

Location: 1828 A Makuahine Street
Honolulu, Hawai’i 96817

Improvements: A one-story, duplex dwelling with 2,280 square feet of living space consisting of one four (4) bedroom, two (2) bathroom residence and a one two (2) bedroom and one (1) bathroom residence, enclosed lanai and an open carport on an 8,414 square feet parcel. (Built in 1962)

Improvements: A one-story, single-family dwelling consisting of five (5) bedrooms, two (2) bathrooms, and porch with shed roof. Parcel is approximately 3,212 square feet, living area about 1,458 square feet (Built in 1988).

5) LOWELL PLACE

Location: 1027 Lowell Place
Honolulu, Hawai’i 96817
TMK: (1) 1-6-006-080

Improvements: A two-story, multi-family dwelling consisting of eight (8) bedrooms, five (5) full bathrooms, and basement garage. Parcel is approximately 5,271 square feet, living area about 3,760 square feet (Built in 1983).

The following are some of the evaluation criteria that will be used to rank and select proposals: ability to meet priorities established in the solicitation, economic feasibility of the proposal, anticipated accomplishments, project readiness, organizational experience, and financial capabilities.

Applications must be submitted to the Department of Budget and Fiscal Services Purchasing Division at Honolulu Hale, 530 South King Street, Room 115, Honolulu, Hawai’i by the date and time as stated in the RFP packet, as amended.
