NOTICE TO PROVIDERS OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
EMERGENCY ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSE SERVICES

The Hawaii State Department of Health, Office of Hazard Evaluation and Emergency Response (HEER), plans to use professional services for qualified individuals or firms to provide Emergency Environmental Response Services – Scope of services to include, but not limited to, providing various time-critical response actions during incidents where the releases or potential releases of hazardous substances present an imminent and substantial threat to public health and/or the environment.

Under the requirements of HRS Sec. 103D-304, such professional services are subject to competitive selection.

The State may elect to award multiple contracts for the same or similar professional services, in order to meet our needs.

The initial term of the contract is anticipated to be one year, with an option to extend annually for an additional four (4) years, subject to availability of funding, satisfactory performance, and on-going need.

Deadline:
Submit the materials no later than 3:30 p.m. (Hawaii Standard Time), December 15, 2021, time stamped by the HEER Office, in order to be considered to be placed on the Pre-Qualified List.

No facsimile or electronic submittals will be accepted.
The State accepts no financial responsibility for costs incurred by individuals or firms responding to this request. Any and all material submitted to the State in response to this shall become the property of the State of Hawaii.
