COUNTY OF HAWAI’I MASS TRANSIT AGENCY PUBLIC COMMENT REQUEST OPPORTUNITY 5310 PROGRAM FUNDS The notice serves as an opportunity to request a public hearing on a proposed funding request by the County of Hawai’i Mass Transit Agency to the Hawai’i Department of Transportation (HDOT) for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) Section 5310 funding in the amount of $220,000 to purchase cutaway buses to support the Hele-On transit system. This project is not duplicative in nature of other transportation providers providing service on Hawai’i Island.
