NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING FOR RULEMAKING TO ENABLE ELECTRONIC SUBMISSION AND PROCESSING OF APPLICATIONS AND MAKE NON-SUBSTANTIVE HOUSEKEEPING RULES CHANGES TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII PLANNING DEPARTMENT RULES OF PRACTICE AND PROCEDURE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN of public hearing for the proposed changes to the Planning Department Rules of Practice and Procedure to enable the electronic submission and make non-substantive housekeeping rules changes, which is initiated by the Planning Director, pursuant to Chapter 91, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS) and Planning Department Rule 2. DATE: Monday, July 26, 2021 TIME: 9:00 AM PLACE: This meeting will be held by interactive video conference via Zoom. The public may provide oral testimony at the meeting by joining online or calling into the Zoom meeting. The purpose of the public hearing is to afford all interested persons a reasonable opportunity to provide comments on the proposed changes to the rules. Comments may be presented orally at the public hearing or submitted in writing electronically to the Planning Department via email at planning@hawaiicounty.gov.
